The Job
We are seeking a professional, high energy Marketing Intern for the 2010 Summer and Fall school year to work 8-10 hours per week. We are looking for an honest, hard-working individual who is interested in gaining real world experience in the marketing field.
Goals & Objectives:Develop a wide variety of applicable skills to use in the marketing community. Gain experience with innovative marketing strategies including social media/web 2.0, SEO and traditional media. Heavy focus on metrics driven results.
Duties:
* Write content and update blogs on a regular basis
* Assist with online open forums
* Work on internet website submissions
* Assist with e-newsletters
* Gain experience with direct mail project
* Manage day-to-day social media content.
Skills:
* Strong knowledge of social media and blogging
* Basic HTML understanding (not required, but helpful)
* Eager to learn marketing processes and new techniques
* Strong writing and editing skills
