Description:
Westin Consulting LLC is a marketing/software development firm seeking a full-time web application developer with Rails experience and a strong foundation in PHP, MySQL, etc.

Duties:
- At least 4 years experience developing production web-based applications
- Ruby on Rails
- PHP development
- MySQL and/or Postgres administration (min 2 years)
- Extensive knowledge of LAMP technology
- Strong knowledge of Apache administration (redirects, memory limits, adding domains, adding modules)
- Above average CSS, HTML skills
- JavaScript / AJAX
- Knowledge of open-source projects and frameworks
- Good information architecture and UI management skills
- Good communication skills and ability to work with a team
- Meticulous QA and documentation
Skills:
- Linux Server administration
- Server hardware, network administration
- Bash scripting, perl scripting
- Web design and SEO skills
- Ability to turn .psd files or html templates into finished product
