Ruby on Rails Nearshore Team Lead
ABOUT US
We are a growing American company with offices in Los Angeles, California and Denver, Colorado looking to create an nearshore development team in Mexico - preferably in the Monterrey or Guadalajara areas. Our business offers marketing and software solutions to the legal industries in the US and Internationally.
ABOUT THIS POSITION
We are looking for an experienced RoR developer in this region who has experience managing a team of developers, and has access to a candidate pool.
This offshore team would work closely with and compliment our US-based development team using Agile development methodology.
Requirements
- must be fluent in English / Spanish (there will be a testing requirement)
- must have 2+ years experience with Ruby on Rails
- must have 5+ years framework experience (RoR, php, other)
- must have 2+ years experience as a team leader
- must have access to and ability to recruit developers
- participation in daily “stand-ups”
- minimum 40 hour work weeks - Monday through Friday - 9am to 6pm MST
- experience with agile / scrum development preferred
- experience working with offshore clients preferred
- knowledge of Pivotal Tracker or comparable Agile development software tools
